Hereafter: Great writing and filled with so much truth. I remember being a young child thinking, “Where am I going to go when I die?” As a young girl all I could picture in my mind was caskets floating in space. Until I met Jesus, many years later. As a 21 year old young woman I looked for peace in other people, in lifestyles, but nothing came close to having the answer for me until I found out about a loving God who allowed His own Son, Jesus to become a sacrifice for me so that I would not be tormented in the after life, hell. You must understand that God’s original plan was not for mankind to ever have to live in such a place after their life on earth was through. The bible says that hell was created for the devil and his (fallen) angels. But if mankind refuses to believe that Jesus IS the Son of the living God and refuses to accept His payment for our sins (wrong doings) if people flat out reject Jesus the Christ, then according to what the word of God says, they will be in danger of living forever in that awful place. I agree with you, to read John and the rest of the gospels. It is a great place to start for those that are searching for the truth, the after-life.
I just read your talk to yourself on why you arre happy. It hit home I have a great wife, to me the greatest son ever and a soon to be. in 2 years a daughter-in-law. I work hard like everyone else and relax in the haven of flowers in my backyard that I grow and raise with my hands. I love it . it is so peacful. Really all the money in world could not give me what my wife and son have already. I have a whole life time to go. Your words hit home.

I have listened to Rick’s messages for many years, these last couple of years have made the most IMPACT in my own personal walk with God. I have and continue to learn that I have been given by God the ability have control over my thoughts. I have gone from allowing thoughts of fear, doubt and disappointment to thoughts of FREEDOM! Freedom from fear, freedom from doubt and freedom from all forms of disappointment. Even when these thoughts surface….as they will in everyone’s life….I have been learning that I do NOT have to camp out with these thoughts, I can MOVE ON almost immediately. I am learning to keep my focus on the GOOD in life.
